Congresswoman Elaine Luria Endorses Delegate Steve Heretick’s Re-Election
NORFOLK, Va.—Delegate Steve Heretick (D-79) announced today that Congresswoman Elaine Luria (VA-02) will endorse his re-election for the Virginia House of Delegates.
"Del. Steve Heretick has a proven history of steady leadership and service to the constituents of the 79th House of Delegates District,” said Rep. Luria. “I'm proud to endorse his re-election so he can continue expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare, working to bolster our small businesses, and building a greener, cleaner energy infrastructure."
Heretick is running for his fourth term in the House, in order to continue the work to build a strong green energy economy for Hampton Roads, reform the criminal justice system, and expand access to affordable healthcare for all of Virginia’s working families.

Democrat Stephen E. “Steve” Heretick represents the 79th District of the Virginia House of Delegates which includes parts of the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Portsmouth. He was first elected to the General Assembly in 2015, and serves on the committees for Counties, Cities, and Towns, Courts of Justice, Finance, and Labor and Commerce. Delegate Heretick also serves on six subcommittees, three of which he Chairs: Insurance, Land Use, and State Taxation.
